If you are switching to a new server within the current hosting provider or with a new provider, all that is required to do at Cloud WAF is to change the site IP address.
That is done accordingly:
Go to the MY Console: https://my.imperva.com/admin/login?logout=true
1. Go to Site>>Settings>>Origin Servers tab:
2. Edit /Remove the old server IP and enter the new server IP:
- There is no need to make any changes to the Cloud WAF DNS records.
The change is propagated to the various proxies and becomes active within a few minutes.
- Make sure to restrict direct access on the new origin servers and whitelist the Cloud WAF IP ranges only.
