Cloud WAF (formerly Incapsula) is deployed as a reverse proxy in front of your Joomla application. This means that all traffic coming to your site through Cloud WAF will be seen as coming from one of the Imperva IPs.
In order to make sure that your Joomla and existing plugins get the correct user IP, we have created this Cloud WAF plugin. The Cloud WAF plugin will make sure that any reference to the user IP in your Joomla will use the correct IP address.

Where can I download that plugin for Joomla. I am in a loop
See the attached files...
by the Joomla extension, do I need to change DNS in Cpanel?
@seeng,
you still need to change your DNS. The Joomla extension makes sure that your Joomla and existing plugins get the correct user IP we have created this Incapsula plugin.
Does this plugin work for Joomla 2?
I need something like this for the live chat function on my site.
I have downloaded and installed on my trial installation. The aim is to assess the viability of using this service on a wide range of Joomla sites
Great. I would be happy to hear your results.
I have noticed that Joomla Administrator has a few operational issues through Incapsula with popup screens. I have decided to run with one site on the personal plan as this site has received a lot of unwanted attention from Bots. Incapsula seems a good solution if you have been receiving attacks from bots. Interestingly my site had been hacked some time ago and even though I have cleared the site ( rebuilt from scratch) the bots keep coming seeking vulnerabilities. Ability to block countries is great. My local chamber of commerce website would hardly be of interest to eastern European individuals so blocking Russia and Netherlands has stopped most of the nasty attempts to hack the site.
I will provide Incapsula as an option for my clients although most don't experience any real security problems and they are not generally business sensitive sites.
Is there a solution to the Joomla Administrator popup problem?
that Extensions shows this error in joomla 3.0
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JController::getInstance() in /home/......./public_html/administrator/components/com_incapsula/incapsula.php on line 21
extensions for joomla 3.0 still error.
When I try to login to an existing account from the Joomla plugin, nothing happens. My logs show the following error:
"POST /administrator/components/com_incapsula/assets/auth.php HTTP/1.1" 404 - "mysite.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_incapsula&view=logins" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/28.0.1500.72 Safari/537.36"
Please, my situation is the same as with h2h above. Can't login from the component within joomla. Quite simply nothing happens!
I went round and round on this. Provided error messages and network data. Never got it fixed. I have this problem on two separate and different servers.
h2h... I have been able to solve this issue on my end and hopefully by sharing it you would too.
I use admin tools and creating a .htaccess with it blocks direct access to some files and folders. You have to enable direct access to these files and folders, the easiest way was to recreate a .htaccess file using admin tools and under the tabs of allow direct access add the folder administrator/components/com_incapsula
Hope this helps, it sure did for me.
Don87 - BINGO! Added it under "Allow direct access, including .php files, to these directories" and it works like a charm on both sites.
Thanks!
Hm I still have problem, I can't login on my joomla admin panel to Incapsula, when I type email and password, nothing happens. Any solution to that? Thanks
Same here, trying to install their Joomla plugin to solve but not working. Tried disabling Incapsula but still no good - might have to leave it off 24 hrs to get back in?
